The Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion: What You Need to Know About It

Are you prepared for an invasion this month?!? No, we aren’t talking about a surprise alien attack but an invasion of thousands of jeeps to Pigeon Forge! The Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion drives into town in late August and is a fun event for anyone who owns or loves Jeeps! Here is everything you need to know about attending the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge:

Dates, Times and Location

The Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion will be held on August 25 and 26, 2017, at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. The main show will take place inside the LeConte Center’s Main Hall, which will be completely filled with vendors. There will also be a Jeep Show held in the parking lot outside of the main show. Doors open each morning at 9 AM and the event concludes each day at 5 PM.

The cost to attend the event is only $10 each per day! Children under 12 years old are admitted to the event for free.

What to Expect

The Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion is an annual vendor-driven event hosted by the Smoky Mountain Jeep Club of Maryville, Tennessee, and is now in its 5th year. The event is open to everyone, so anyone who owns or loves Jeeps is encouraged to attend! Last year’s event drew more than 4,200 Jeeps and nearly 10,000 attendees, so come on out this year to help beat that record! New this year is a Show and Shine Judged Competition that is open to the first 200 Jeeps each day of the event. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of the competition!

Jeep Invasion Special Events and Discounts

In addition to the main event, there will be several special events taking place around Pigeon Forge to celebrate the Jeep Invasion. This includes a kickoff party at the Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday, August 24th from 5 PM to 11 PM where the popular restaurant will be offering 25 percent off food and non-alcoholic drinks simply for mentioning “Jeep Invasion”! The fun continues with a Friday night after-party from 9 PM to midnight on August Shops at The Island in Pigeon Forge.25th at Dick’s Last Resort at the Island in Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy dancing with a live DJ and a 25 percent food discount! Attendees of the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion can also show their wristband to receive discounts at area attractions such as the Coaster at Goats on the Roof, Fast Track Amusement Center and Blake Jones Racing Center Indoor Go-karts.
