1. Newfound Gap

For an amazing view of the mountains, you should watch the Newfound Gap webcam. You’ll get to see a view from a pull off spot along this scenic drive. The webcam is actually set up on the state line between Tennessee and North Carolina. Newfound Gap is the lowest drivable pass in the Great Smoky Mountains, and it’s one of the only roads that connects the two states through the park. Whether you want to see snow on the mountains or the leaves changing in the fall, you’ll love watching this webcam.

2. Purchase Knob

A Smoky Mountain webcam on the North Carolina side of the Smokies is Purchase Knob. This land was the most recently donated to the park in the early 2000s. On this webcam, you’ll be able to see valleys and mountains for miles and miles. It sits in the eastern part of the park and faces northeast. Want to see this beautiful view in person? There’s actually a 0.5 mile hike to this lookout point!

3. Look Rock

Another webcam that’s off a popular scenic drive in the Smokies is Look Rock. This location is off of Foothills Parkway, a road that has been under construction for about 75 years. It was first approved around the time the national park was established, and there are still 33.5 miles of road left to be built. Insufficient funding is why the road hasn’t been completed yet. You’ll see this amazing view on your screen, and you can also see it in person!

4. Ober Gatlinburg

With the Ober Gatlinburg webcams, you actually can watch two different areas! See a webcam facing downtown Gatlinburg where you can watch snow fall or enjoy the beautiful fall colors in the mountains. The other webcam is in the area of Ober where skiers and snowboarders come down the mountain. You can watch people tube down the hill, rock climb, ride water slides, and much more.

5. Gatlinburg Space Needle

The Gatlinburg Space Needle webcam is the most unique. You actually can control where you are looking on the webcam! You can look at downtown Gatlinburg and watch other people walking down the Strip. See the left and right portions of the Parkway, too. Other options you can choose to watch include the national park entrance, Ober Gatlinburg, and Gatlinburg towards Pigeon Forge.
